Noodler's X-Feather Review

This review was preformed with a Platnium Preppy on a Rhodia Dot Pad
This ink bottle was my first fountain pen purchase. It is, to me, the perfect black ink. Dark, waterproof, no feathering, and cheap. Really nothing else to say here. Try this one out, and here are the pictures!

De Atramentis Document Blue

This Review was preformed with a Jinhao X-750 and on a Rhodia Dot Pad
This is a special ink. I have never used one with better waterproof capabilities. Usually the ink will spread, lose color, or at least show signs of having water being introduced to it. This ink showed nothing. Couple that with a decent color, and a fast dry time and you have a winner in my book. The only issue is that it seems to have a small tendency to feather. If you are scared about losing your writing, get this ink. Onto the pictures :D.

J. Herbin Vert Reseda

This Review was preformed with a Jinhao X-450 an on a Rhodia Dot Pad
I would have never bought this ink myself. Thankfully when I bought a few random samples from Goulet Pens, it was selected for me. This is a super interesting ink, and I love it. No complaints on how it preforms. Sadly I won't be buying a bottle of it though because I can't see myself using it often enough to ever finish a bottle. I am very glad I discovered it though! On to the ink!

Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses Review

This review was preformed with an Italix Parson's Essential and on a Rhodia Dot Pad
I have had my eye on this ink for awhile, but since the recent problems with the formulation I have never been able to try it out. Thankfully Mr. Tardiff over at Noodler's was able to resolve the issues with the in recipe, and we have the original BSIAR back! Personally when it comes to burgandy/magenta inks my favorite is Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-Budo. The shades of these two inks are a little too close together to warrant owning a bottle of each, but that doesn't mean this is a bad ink. The waterproofness of this ink, which is unheard of in inks this shade, is awesome. If you haven't already check this ink out. On to the ink!
